How to choose a photo for an AI video
A practical checklist for framing, light and a clear subject.
Start with a readable subject
Choose a photo where the main person or object is easy to distinguish from the background. Avoid heavy motion blur, tiny faces and objects that cover important features.
Leave the frame room to move
A tight crop can make a moving shot harder to compose. Leave some space around the head and shoulders, and follow the framing guidance shown with the template.
Keep the light consistent
Even lighting helps preserve visible facial detail. If you are choosing between several images, begin with the one that has fewer deep shadows and less intense backlighting.
Review before sharing
AI output can change details. Check the face, hands, clothing and background before downloading or posting. Use only a photo you have permission to upload.
